Like in my little funny I misdirected you to think one thing and finished with an other, and ZING! a joke is born. To bad that same practice is not solely used in Jokes but al too often it’s used in media and by all sides of the political coin. The media plays on the fear of the common man and the known fact that most people are way too uneducated for the decisions that need to be made every day in this country. So media relies on making us all scared and in doing so swaying us to follow the views of our media provider. Glen Beck uses words predicting Armageddon and Keith Olbermann insisted the other side is uncaring brutal and heartless but both sides use a form of fear mongering to drive their point home. They do so much of this my misdirecting thought and forcing us to believe a false view of reality. This all brings me to my case in point. The health care reform bill.
I challenge anyone out there to point out where in this health care reform bill are there any improvements to the actual act of heath care. You are probably reading this and thinking what the fuck is this guy getting at; the bill is trying to enable everyone to get heath care right. WRONG!!! Here are the facts, in a basic as I can state them way. EVERY ONE IN THIS COUNTRY CAN GET HEATH CARE RIGHT NOW AS THEY NEED IT AND CAN’T BE TURNED AWAY. Since we have the best care in the world what are they trying to reform? Oh the health care billing! That’s what they are trying to fix but they cant call it reform of the insurance industry because people would not think its so much of a big deal, but as soon as you plant that seen in the uneducated minds of the American majority that they are entitled to better "Health Care" than that is being offered to them today.
So what am I getting at, I'm getting at calling the issue what it is and not misdirecting people in to thinking they can't get care right now or that there are people in this country that are not able to get care at any one moment. This is a lie, we have a great medical law that states everyone is entitled to getting proper care and can not be turned down. Now a medical facility can turn away the uninsured and send them to a facility that is set up to take care of the uninsured but they can't do this until said patient is stable and no longer in eminent danger. There are medical colleges and clinics all over the country that will take care of anyone and bill them later. So the question is not if we can get care but what do we do about the rising bills. I just want the politicians to stop being fear mongers and call things as they are and stop calling this shit health care reform, its health insurance reform we need in this country. Too many people sit and suffer and roll the dice with their own wellbeing simply because they are too afraid of the bill they will get and a log of them don’t want the sub par health care that is often received a many of these clinics. By the way universal health care will create a ton of those sub par health care clinics. Take away the ability for doctors to make a good living and those doctors will become other things where the money is better. Sounds bad and uncaring but lets face facts people this is
I could be totally wrong but I could be on to something. As long as we all think, we are on the right track.
Until next time...
