So there are a few (compared to the population of the world) people out there that feel it is their right or even duty to break in to information sources and take what they find and expose it to the world for all to see. Now I have a mixed emotion about this since some of the info leaked has provided good results but my fear is that what happens when it ends up being a Geraldo drawing troop movements in the sand during Desert Storm. Some of the info we have needs to stay a secret but there is info that we as members of this Earth should be told about. But who do we put in charge of this debate of what we should and what we shouldn’t know. I don’t have an answer to that but I think I do have a good solution. Like everything in life we have to take the good with the bad, its just the way things are and always will be. You can’t make every one happy all the time, so you will just be banging your head against a wall thinking this can be accomplished. Unlike pack animals we don’t fall in line based on out instincts in to some primal order. No, too many people feel they have some right to be the best at what ever they do. I blame their parents for being too nice and not realistic enough. Stop telling your children that they can be anything they want to b when they grow up. No wonder so many people are pissed off in life. They actually believed their parents and were hoping to be rich and successful but in fact they were born with average physical and mental abilities so finding the proof for the higs bosom is not in their cards but being a top end ditch digger might be. Now there is nothing wrong with that and we all should strive to find what ever it is we are good at and be the best we can be at that. That makes up good humans, but too many of us grow up thinking they have been granted more freedoms than they really have and they do stupid shit like Wikileaks. I say let them play their game of breaking in and stealing info, I also say make the penalties for doing this act harsh as shit. I like things like hard labor for crimes and if these fat ass key mashers can’t do the hard labor, start them off with a good healthy diet and lots of physical activity so they will one day be able to perform their duties and repay their debt to society. I also say that if these people produce something that should have been known and we as society benefit from it then they should be praised. So the reward or punishment should be determined by the people affected by said leak of info. So you do well and you are a hero do poorly and you dig holes. Have you ever seen that movie Holes with a young "that dude from Transformers" in it. Good movie and aside from the abusive warden is a very good concept. So I think we need to start leaning toward a more pay to play attitude toward the actions people do and be a little harsher but also be more giving for the good deeds as well. So how does this pertain to Tosh.0 you ask (if you made it this far) well if it wasn’t for those people that feel everything should be available for every one to see then shows like Tosh.0 and Web Soup would be around for us to laugh and yell FAIL at all the time. That sense of unearned right is what I'm getting at and since everyone has these rights they need to accept the cost of playing the games. Like being made fun of on Tosh.0 and laughed at by millions or ending up in jail for leaking info that got 15 NATO troops killed because you felt that the world should know said info. I guess it boils down to this; think before you act cuz there is a price to pay.
I could be totally wrong but I could be on to something. As long as we all think, we are on the right track.
Until next time…
